Past Exhibits

Haunted (2025)

Our Halloween 2025 exhibit was delightfully creepy.  It featured moody and bizarre works of mixed-media, photography, painting, drawing, and more.  Congratulations to all the local artists who were featured.

Peace, Love & Music (2025)

Our Summer music-themed exhibit was a blast.  This is our annual exhibit, which coincides with the Martin on Main festival held each year in downtown Nazareth.  This is one of our favorite exhibits of the year because we get to celebrate the joy of music and how it inspires our local artists.

Plein Air Nazareth (2025)

Lehigh Art Alliance Plein Air Nazareth Event is held each May with plenty of

time and opportunity to paint plein air in and around the region in Pennsylvania. This event culminates with a June exhibition in our gallery with part of the proceeds to benefit Nazareth Center for the Arts.  the exhibit ran from June 6th, 2025 through July 6th, 2025.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JURIED WINNERS:

"This Must Be the Place” was our Photography Club exhibit featuring a diverse selection of photos inspired by our homes, backyards, neighborhoods, and communities. Nazareth Area Photography Club members exhibited their work alongside pieces by a variety of local photography artists. The exhibit showcased traditional photography (analog and digital) plus alternative processes such as cyanotype, solargraphy, and pinhole photography.

"This Must Be the Place” exhibit ran from May 2nd through May 31st, 2025

"Pathways of Color" described the link between three up-and-coming artists, Tory Schultz, Emma Strohl, & Billy Thompson who are the founders of Lehigh Valley Artist Resource and Community.

"Pathways of Color" exhibition ran from April 5th through April 27th, 2025.

“Ensemble: Points of View” was a stunning pastel exhibit showcasing the incredible talent of four women artists — Deb Haaf, Marianne Knipe, Valerie Schramak, and Jeanne Stock. Their journey began as acquaintances, blossomed into friendship, and flourished into a powerful creative ensemble.

Architectural Abstracts

May 2023

Richard's Artist Statement: "In my photographs, the viewer first sees the close-up views of realistic subjects. Through further examination, the abstract elements of the image force the viewer to experience the duality of the subject matter. I use my camera to provide a vision of the realistic image on a second aesthetic level but emphasizes the abstract components of both line and form. By incorporating natural and enhanced use of texture and color, I convey a multi-layered image to the viewer. “I rarely set out to shoot a specific subject, but I am attracted to subjects as I encounter them. My work then reflects a myriad of subjects from landscapes, still- lifes, cityscapes, architecture, and nature. I have found that my interest is particularly drawn to images with reflections and shadows.” I print my images primarily on 100%cotton smooth fine art paper. This provides an image that is slightly softer in edge which replicates the look of a fine art print/ painting."

Nancy Bossert’s “Vernal Impressions” exhibit is an impressive collection of her mixed media work. This exhibit is a must see in person kind of exhibit. There’s so much texture in her mixed media work. It’s really nice to see it all in one space together.
