Autumn Gallery Exhibit

Artist Open Call Details:

Nazareth Center for the Artsis currently accepting submissions

​

Theme: "Haunted!"

​​​​​​​​

​Number of Entries: Up to 3 entries per artist.

 

Submission Deadline:

Friday September 5th at 11 PM EST.

 

Notification of Acceptance: You will be notified by September 8th of your participation.

 

Opening Reception: Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 from 6-8PM

Exhibition Details and Guidelines

Dates of Exhibition 9/20/25 to 10/31/25

 

Gallery Hours

Fridays 3PM - 6PM, Saturdays 9AM - 3PM and Sundays 12PM - 3PM

Eligibility: Open to All Visual Artists. Artwork must be delivered in-person, if accepted.

All 2D mediums accepted. Only original work is eligible. All entries must be created independently by the artist.

Entry Requirements:  Artwork must be gallery-ready, with proper hanging hardware securely installed. All pieces should be framed or professionally presented with sturdy brackets and taut hanging wire. Sawtooth hangers are acceptable for smaller works. Unframed canvases must be gallery-wrapped with painted edges and no visible staples. 

 

Gallery tags must be filled out with all information. Email that information for Tags to nazarethartsgallery@gmail.com with the following information for each entry (up to 3) in the body of an email or in a spreadsheet.

  • size unframed dimensions - stated as w x h x d

  • medium

  • price

  • 1-2 sentences about your artwork.  Describe your process, message or inspiration.

Images should be 1-3MB, clear, straight, and cropped to the edge of the artwork. Photos must be labeled as follows: Artist Name_Artwork Title

 

Fees: There is a Non-refundable fee of $10 per work accepted, payable at delivery. ​These fees help us pay for marketing materials and reception costs.

Notification of Acceptance: You will be notified by September 8th of your participation. Please note we are a small team. 

 

Delivery Date of Accepted Work(s): Accepted artwork should be dropped off at the NCA gallery on Sunday, September 14th between 1 - 4PM or scheduled for another time.

 

Opening Reception: Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 from 6-8PM

 

​Pick-up: To be arranged after the Exhibit Closes on Friday, October 31st.

 

Rules of Exhibition:

Artwork must be the artist’s original design. Your entry acknowledges permission to have your work photographed or videoed for promotional use. 

 

Gallery Sitting:

Your participation in Gallery Sitting is necessary for a successful exhibit. We will send out a Sign-Up Genius link in an accepted exhibition email, as well as an upcoming newsletter. 

 

Liability

All reasonable care will be taken of all work. NCA is covered by Erie Insurance in the event that unforeseen damage occurs. We would prefer work to be for sale. A 30% commission will be taken by the Nazareth Center for the Arts on all sales. Your entry into this exhibit constitutes agreement with these terms and conditions.
