Artist Open Call Details:​
 

Theme: Since 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, this exhibit will explore the landscapes, traditions, controversies, & symbols that shape our familiar American experiences.  Points of inspiration may include:

PEOPLE, CITIES, EVENTS, FOLKLORE, LANDSCAPES, HERITAGE, PROTESTS, SYMBOLS, HISTORY, TRADITIONS, MUSIC, FOOD, FAUNA, FLORA, CULTURE

Entry Requirements:    Work must be framed & presented in a neat and professional manner with secure brackets and taut wire. Saw-tooth hangers will be accepted on smaller pieces.
​

Open to all photographic work, including traditional photography (digital & analog), alternative photography (e.g., pinhole, instant film, solargraphy, etc.), and experimental photographic processes (e.g,. cyanotype, anthotype, etc.).
 

Artwork must be delivered in person if accepted.
 

Size:    Needs to fit through the door.
 

Only original work is eligible and no AI generated work will be accepted.   All entries must be created independently by the artist.
 

Accepted artists may be required to volunteer as a Gallery Host during our normal gallery hours.  A sign-up sheet for volunteers will be issued after closing of the Open Call.
 

Fees:    There is a non-refundable fee of $10 per work accepted, payable at delivery. ​
 

Number of Entries:    Up to 4 entries per artist may be submitted for consideration
 

​Submission Deadline:    Sunday, March 29th at 11:59PM.  You will be notified by the end of day Friday, April 3rd of your participation.  Accepted artwork should be dropped off at the NCA gallery on Sunday, April 19th between 4PM - 7PM, or arrange an alternate day/time before the 19th.
 

Jurying:   For acceptance and awards.

Opening Reception:    TBD in May
 

Pick-up:    TBD following the Closing or by appointment.

Rules of Exhibition:  Artwork must be the artist’s original design. Your entry acknowledges permission to have your work photographed or videoed for promotional use.
​

Liability: All reasonable care will be taken of all work. NCA is covered by Erie Insurance in the event that unforeseen damage occurs. We would prefer work to be for sale. A 30% commission will be taken by the Nazareth Center for the Arts on all sales. Your entry into this exhibit constitutes agreement with these terms and conditions.
